This carbon steel thin wall thread repair kit is designed to repair or reinforce tapped holes in soft metals such as aluminum, cast iron, and magnesium. The repair kit is for use with M6 X 1.0 fasteners and includes 10 inserts, a drill, tap, and drive tool.
